Pinehurst North Carolina - Rockingham North Carolina Speedway

Prefer a faster pace? Located in the heart of stock car country, North Carolina Speedway in Rockingham is most noted for its fan-friendly atmosphere and Southern hospitality. Known as“The Rock,” this 1.017-mile motor speedway lost its final NASCAR race date recently. Future NASCAR plans for the speedway are still uncertain, but the Rockingham Dragway will continue as it has with exciting drag racing.

The Rockingham Dragway, part of this sprawling speed complex, is also home to some of the most exciting automotive and motorcycle drag racing competitions in the world, including the International Hot Rod Association (IRHA) Nationals and the All Harley Drag Racing Association competitions.

The North Carolina Speedway hosts classic car shows, motorcycle and other special automotive events throughout the year.
