The Stoneybrook Steeplechase at Carolina Horse Park at Five Points is just one of the equestrian events held yearly in the Pinehurst, North Carolina area. The Pinehurst Harness Track, originally called the “Pinehurst Race Track”, has been the winter training home for standardbreds since 1915. Included in its schedule are hunter/jumper shows, dressage shows, carriage driving shows, polo matches and more. The newly restored Fair Barn, the oldest surviving fair exhibition hall in North Carolina, offers some type of activity every month of the year.
