You've sailed to far-off destinations, seen
the sights, and made many good memories. In
far too short a time, you'll return to home
port and, even though you may be tempted to
stow away on the next cruise, you'll begin to
prepare to go home.

ALL GOOD THINGS MUST
COME TO AN END
Cruise lines have established guidelines to make the disembarkation process
as organized and easy as possible. While it may seem that you are being
rushed off ship, the staff needs time to clean and prepare for the next
group of passengers who will probably arrive in several hours.
One
day prior to your final docking, you'll receive
color-coded luggage tags which ask for pertinent
personal information and your departure airline,
flight number, time, etc. Luggage, with the
exception of carry-on bags, should be placed
outside your cabin door by a designated time
on your last night aboard ship. A crew member
will transport your luggage to a holding area
for unloading once in port where you will retrieve
it and carry it through customs.
TIPS
ON TIPS
On your last night aboard ship, you'll receive envelopes to hold tips
for service people. With the exception of a few cruise lines who have
policies forbidding tipping, most service people depend on tips for their
livelihood. Individual ships usually have suggested guidelines regarding
tipping amounts for each position but you are always free to deviate from
these suggestions depending on the quality of service you've received.
